Somebody left a cheaper pair of sunglasses hanging on a tree near the tree line for airline.
Couple of single gloves at appalachia trailhead. |

Socked in and windy, but not terribly cold.
Valley way was in decent shape, but that just has to do with the time of day I was ascending. Everything above tree line is reasonable with most trails being iced over and traction being mandatory.
Snowshoes would work on either Valley Way or Airline, but above tree line they'd be worthless.
Valley way has some standard postholes with the warmer weather of late, and I made a mess on of Airline on the way down, the worst of it being steeper sections about 2 miles from the trailhead. Can dodge most of the existing post holes, but we definitely need colder temps to stabilize things.
