BADLY POSTHOLED TRAIL starting at the Sunderland junction. I switched to snowshoes but the others in our party (ignoring my warnings on trail conditions) did not bring theirs. We decided to turn around at the 0.8 mi point, following the lead of another hiker and her (jumpy) dog, rather than make matters worse.
Please wear snowshoes. I figured it would be a moot issue given predicted snowstorm which later sounds like it may not materialize. |
