Comments
Comments: In penance for earlier postholing by my 3 compatriots, we donned snowshoes and wore them car to car. Today they were not needed, although they packed down the soft snow nicely for a quality path. Apparently no NH peak is complete without a tennis shoe-clad hiker, and even in the soft wet snow of a 50+ degree day, we found one here.

This trail was #2 rehab hike today to nurse through a recurrent, nagging, bloody stupid, why is this happening to me insult of a joint issue. Yet being wrapped in mountain Views, and breathing in the crispness of lake-swept air across a horizon of snow-capped peaks beyond, was balm for the weary soul. As hikers I think Hope always springs eternal for us all- hope that the trail of persistence brings us ever higher, as we stand above our challenges and smile.
