| Comments: |
Frigid but beautiful day to snag these peaks. Trail is packed solid with drifting powder higher in elevation. Numerous postholes along the route but easy enough to avoid. Some made for near ankle twists with my snowshoes. Snowshoes on the ascent but sharp spikes on the descent. Mostly frozen granular trail surface with some blue ice lurking underneath a thin layer of powder. All in all a great hike up and down in just over 4 hours. Also brought me to the halfway mark for my grid! Woot woot! |
