For about half of this loop, the snowshoe track I laid down yesterday had been thoroughly churned up by bare boots later in the day. I wore snowshoes round-trip again to try and smooth things out.
My tracks from yesterday had also filled in a bit due to heavy snow showers moving through this morning, which also lightly coated the dirt roads leading to the trailhead. Couple that with the already soft conditions and snowshoes are best tool for these trails at the moment. |
