Comments
Comments: Debated which route made the most sense today. Decided to ascend steeply up to the western ridge (NW peak), and walk the ridge to the summit.

Crossed the road and jumped into slightly thick brush. Slow going up the the ridge due to 6-12" of fresh powder on top of 3-4 feet on packed snow; two steps forward and one back. And many tighter sections within open woods. On the ridge the forest was wide open making for easy traversing to the summit; this may not be the case without the 6-12 inches of powder over 3-4 feet of snow pack covering downed trees and branches. Canister was easy to locate and open, not frozen, thanks to previous visitors. Followed our tracks down. Great route for the snowy conditions.
