| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Parked at the lot near Irving, my vehicle has low clearance so I wasn't sure about Starr King Rd. The road and summer lot are however both plowed and clear. A couple of significant dips in the road where vehicles with low clearance will want to take caution.
I was the first car in the route 2 lot at 7am, there was 1 car in the summer lot. Both lots nearly full around 11am when I got back. |

| Comments: |
Light snow showers the whole way up, clouds cleared for the descent. Wind chills were brisk this morning, especially above 3000' so I was glad this trail is in the trees. Only saw two others on the way up, about 25+ on the way down.
Spikes the whole way, snowshoes went for a ride but some spots on the trail between Starr King and Waumbek could use some extra packing down. |
