Nice day with intermittent filtered sun. Views all along including from lake overlook were unlimited. Just a few enthusiastic hikers, some new to the trail, and us old-timers. Nice crusty trail, easily managed with spikes, although packed surface is quite irregular from boots on too-warm days.
No wind allowed a leisurely time sitting at lake overlook.
