Comments
Comments: My mission was just to complete tracing Greeley Ponds Trail. I hiked the section from the Kanc, past the two ponds, down to Timber Camp Trail. Then I returned the same way. I wore snowshoes the whole hike.

The trail was very well packed up to the junction with Mt. Osceola Trail. After that, the trail is mixed use (hikers, skiers, post-holers). It was well packed (with some post-holes) until the south end of the upper pond; less packed between the ponds. When I got past the lower pond, the hiking trail almost disappeared under 6 to 8 inches of recent snow. It was nice to take the snowshoes through some fresh powder.

The two ponds are definitely the highlight of this trail. Great views of Mt. Kancamagus and the Osceolas from the shores of both ponds.
