Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Parking on N. Groton road was tricky. And, the snow banks made finding space along the road tricky. But I managed to squeeze completely off the road at approximately 1250' (across from an abandoned junk truck). Would be easier in a car with greater clearance.

Comments
Comments: As noted by others, there are no trespassing signs at the where the power lines cross N. Groton rd. Additionally, there are multiple no trespassing signs further south along N Groton rd.

Snowshoed a straight line on hard packed snow covered in some places with 1-2" of powder; great conditions. Line took me down across the a couple of small streams, across the powerline swath, and directly up to the summit. Snowshoe tracks crossed the summit on the trails; looks like they examined the register, but didn't sign in. Whole excursion took about an hour to hike but about 20-30 to find parking.
