| Comments: |
Crawford Connector, Crawford Path to the Webster Cliff Trail and the short WCT segment to Pierce were consistent White Mountain sidewalk, ideal for spikes. Crawford Path from WCT to the Eisenhower Loop was softer and a little choppy but firm enough for passage with spikes without post holing. Eisenhower Loop had packed snow and a couple of icy spots, also fine with spikes, which we wore car-to-car.
Beautiful day! We started under blue skies, then were in the clouds on Pierce but these dissipated on the way up Eisenhower and the rest of the day was spectacular.
Great hike with Chris, as always. Wonderful to bump into Jess and to meet Kristen! |
