19 mile brook packed hard by hut crew sleding in lumber.Carter Moriah is full of post holes but they are avoidable. From Zeta Pass to Dome snowshoes would work best. Half of this trail has lots of drifts sometimes 12" deep. N Carter and Imp are a holely mess. Snowshoes tip sideways and spikes find the hidden holes throwing the hiker off kilter or into a face plant. So walk cautiously and slowly and it will get you there. |
