One or two very easy stepovers |

Good shape. A few encroaching branches. One sapling duckunder around 6 feet high |

I'm not a pet person, but it seems this would be a pretty easy hike for a snow loving dog. I met one who seemed to be lovin' it. |

Perfect winter conditions for this fairly straightforward peak. Snowshoes would've worked, but weren't necessary. The other two hikers I met had spikes also. The postholes are potentially dangerous, but only if you aren't watching your feet. Most were at the edges of the packed trail. Some were deep enough to twist an ankle.
Folks had used skis on the parallel snowmobile trail, and occasionally near the hiking trail, too |
