| Comments: |
It was a great day for a presidential traverse with some undercast during the first half of the day. Valley way was very packed except for some drifting towards the top. Above treeline the snowfields were all pretty solid. The jefferson snowfield was no problem today as there were postholes to step in. We used microspikes all day. In the southern part of the range there were some exposed rocks and icy sections.
