Great trail conditions consisting of packed snow except for a short northeast section of the loop at the top. This one northeast section of the top loop consisted of up to waist deep drifts.
Micro spikes we're great and i wore them the whole hike. Snowshoes would have been nice for drifted segment, but the snow was very light and it was fun and easy just plowing through. Unbroken segments like this are not often encountered these days and it was a real treat! |
