| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Parts of Parsonage Lot Trail (formerly Parsonage Loop Trail) have been relocated to avoid wet areas and one steep pitch. The trail now begins 0.5 mi. from the parking area. Saddleback Mtn. Loop Trail is only blazed where it is outside the boundary of Northwood Meadows State Park; there is also no sign for this trail at the bottom. There are new white blazes between the parking area and the sign for Lalish Trail 0.25 mi. in, suggesting Lalish Trail now follows Old Mountain Rd. for that first section. There is no sign at the parking area, however, to confirm this. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Dogs should be leashed near the parking area due to the presence of farm animals. |

| Comments: |
I stopped by here to check out the relocations on Parsonage Lot Trail. These were done by NEMBA so there are far more switchbacks now and the total distance is a little longer.
Pretty easy going as far as conditions. Thin snow cover allowed me to bare boot round-trip. After the warm up next week I imagine this snow will be gone or close to it. I carried spikes but never needed them. Mt. Washington with its snow-capped summit was clearly visible today from the northern overlook. |
