Trails were getting soft this afternoon with the sun and temperatures in the upper 40s. Packed snow remained fairly stable on Old Mountain Road (but could hear the water running underneath), but Crawford Ridgepole was getting SOFT (not yet soft enough to fix the weeks-old postholes from Microspikers). Snowshoes all the way. |
