Comments
Comments: A day for sharp microspikes! The few but very icy sections of Velvet Rocks Tr and AT required excellent traction. Velvet Rocks and AT loop was very pleasant as was the look we made with Oli's and the neighborhood trail to the right of it. East Wheelock Tr. and Trescott Spur were both, well, spurs that start from roads with out lots. Exciting stuff.

Clear marking and signage all day. Large mix of snow, leaves, and thick slick ice.
