Trails were firm early this morning, but the blue ice was soft enough for Microspikes.
Still virtually full snowpack in most places, though the initial few dozen feet, as well as the few dozen feet of the southern pitch on South Peak are melting out. Snowshoes will probably be a good idea for the South Peak Trail as temperatures rise in the coming days. |
