Comments: Flat Mountain (3331')

Hoping for another day of solid snowpack conditions, I found what I came for.

Drakes Brook Trail was a narrow footpath with frozen solid postholes adjacent. Rock solid snowpack.
Followed brushy old logging roads toward Flat Mountain, soon losing them but entering old logged hillside.
Between thicker evergreen and open woods and a couple of steep pitches, this was a much better route to approach this peak than previous trail reports - winter conditions when the understory has yet to fill in with ferns and hobblebush.

I'll leave a link to a more in-depth write up, as usual. Enjoy!
