| Comments: |
Trails were hard-packed and fast. I began in microspikes but after the 2.4 mile mark the trail was steep and intermittently icy enough I put my K-10s on. That was a good move - after that, it was smooth sailing. Saw only a few folks on the trail today - everyone had snowshoes on and seemed to be navigating well enough. Once the temps warm up in the next day - snowshoes instead of K-10s would likely be the best choice. |
