| Comments: |
Monorail conditions have begun down low, and encountered multiple spots of boilerplate ice heading up Eisenhower that taxed my Hillsounds to the limit (too much rock along the .3 to the summit for my snowshoes, so swapped to trail crampons. Conditions softened a bit on descent, with snowballs forming on the bottoms of microspikes. Switched back to snowshoes. Of note, it is POURING rain as it 330pm, so trail conditions tomorrow will be interesting. Bring the snowshoes!). |
