Crossings were rock-hoppable. A lot of of the ice was unstable, so best to stick to the rocks |

It was a very warm day and the snow was getting very soft by the afternoon. Tons of postholes. Most people were wearing microspikes, but I opted for snowshoes. I think that really helped with stability in the melting snow and to preserve the trail condition. There were only a few areas with exposed ice near the summit. |
