My dog did great, and met a few other dogs and almost all we met were super friendly! All owners had control of their pups as well. This is a fine trail for dogs, very gradual and no tricky scrambles. |

Vince and I got a late start today. Originally planned on just Eisenhower via Edmands Path, but didn't want to deal with the parking situation. Started around 11:45 and finished just around 4:30. Trail was a mix of everything. The monorail at the start was still decently solid, and stayed that way pretty much up to Pierce. Saw all types of traction - micro spikes, snowshoes, and even barebooting. I carried everything in case. Pierce to Ike was a slushy mess, water streaming down the trail. No matter what anyone wore I think they sunk in the slush. Waterproof boots were a necessity! Hoping for some cold weather and snow again to freeze up these trails. Good luck to anyone heading out there the next few days! |
