| Comments: |
I hiked out and back on the west side of the loop to take care of blowdowns. Two of them were very time consuming so I ran out of time to get to the summit.
The snow is soft and is up to 2’ deep for long stretches of the trail. The postholes have postholes. The monorail is unstable. There is minimal ice that is avoidable with careful foot placement. Snowshoes are honestly the only choice right now. |
