Comments
Comments: We hiked out and back for Jefferson only and it was a mighty fine day to be above treeline. There was no wind, and bright sun. Trail conditions were mushy, but not as bad as we expected. Just about everyone we saw was wearing light traction and carrying snowshoes. There is some new snow above treeline but it’s super-bony up there. Below treeline the monorail was almost completely stable, except in one short section. It was fantastic to run into multiple hikers that we knew, and to finally meet Remington34 in person!
