Comments
Comments: Spring conditions today to the waterfall where we turned around for safety concerns this morning. Barefooted to the first water crossing. As we approached the steeper part of the trail where the monorail showed its sorry self, we decided spikes would be appropriate. There is plenty of mud and running water you can’t avoid in the flat sections for the first two miles of this trail. The weather was beautiful today. Shirt sleeves for the climb. It sure did not feel like winter on the lower half of Mt Kinsman trail.
