| Comments: |
I snowshoed up and back with two who skinned/skied. A mix of conditions today, as indicated above. Lower to middle section of trail is getting pretty melted, lots of water running under snow, and several areas of exposed ground/rock. Higher up after the 1.5 miles trails stayed pretty firm all day with good snow cover. Getting tough to ski all the way out, maybe snow this weekend will help, but there is so much moving water maybe not.
Main Gully had good cover, a mix of corn snow and firmer snow/ice, as reported by those who skied. Other gullies looked a little sparse in spots with snow.
Only saw about a dozen people in this area today.
Bluebird day and great views. |
