The trail had some bare ground, icy monorail, and some postholes. The bare ground sections were mostly lower with long stretches. The monorail was fairly narrow in most places, with plenty of bare ground on the edges. Some parts had wall to wall ice. The postholed section was close to the summit. I did an out and back with my beaters and they were fine. The sharper the better. Quiet day for a walk in the woods. Nice seeing Jeff on the trail again. I scratched the snowshoe box, but that will probably change after today. |
