Comments
Comments: We did not need Microspikes for the Boulder Loop Trail. There were patches of ice that we could easily navigate around.

After the summit, the upper Brook Trail had some ice but mostly wasn't too bad - the steeper pitches needed to be taken very carefully though.

Later on the Brook Trail there was lots of water forcing us to hike off trail at certain spots. There was also ice at some spots that we navigated around without needing MicroSpikes.

This was a very enjoyable hike! Sun trying to appear at times with temps in the low 40s. But the moral of the story is that we didn't need MicroSpikes today but I would still carry them because the weather is constantly changing.
