| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Short but narrow and unpaved access road to the trailhead. I don't think it was too muddy (just wet) and should be doable for low clearance cars. We were the only two cars there at 3:45 and 4:45pm. |

| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
If memory serves correctly, the causeway was just a bunch of small rocks and was bone dry. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
SELT property so trails are marked with colored circles with white arrows inside tacked to trees. Howard's Path was marked with red and Quarry Trail with blue. SELT uses very small trail signs but they're all intact. I do not recall any blowdowns. |

A little post-work SNH redline with a friend. Seems like a good one to do when everything is flooded as the trail has no water crossings and was not particularly prone to mud or large puddles either! Make sure to get both halves of the "loop" as Quarry Trail is described as a spur in the guidebook. We came in Quarry Trail and out Howard's Path. Nice spot along Dead Pond. Gaia had us at 1.45mi, 100ft of gain, 30min. |
