Comments
Comments: Snowshoes up to the last 1/2 mile, then barebooted, although spikes would have worked too. Became patchy with exposed rocks here and there. Snowshoes down to Greenleaf and barebooted the rest. Half the folks I passed were in Microspikes the whole way, I liked snowshoes more for the ascent but that’s me. Beautiful day up there with a decent amount of snow still. The snow pack was noticeably softer on the descent than ascent. Enjoy the last of winter in the mountains!
