Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: None of note, though there are wet spots and ice is still thin in some spots, where we broke through. This cold should cure that. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Mt. Cabot Trail is still unmaintained. Great shape though. Some step overs and a couple of go arounds but thats it.

Dog-Related Notes: Not much water and cold for a dog today.

Comments
Comments: This unmaintained trail is in better shape than many maintained. 4" of snow down low but lots on top. We snowshoed the whole way. Rocks are covered though down low they throw off your balance.


Up above, from Kilkenny Ridge over to summit we really worked with lots of snow and drifting. After stopping at cabin we headed to summit. From South Peak we wandered a bit but refound the trail. Follow the main set (if the wind doesn't obscure them). True winter descent which was FAST! Great day out with Beth and Karen.
