Water Crossing Notes: The couple of water crossings going up to Carter Notch (past the split to Carter Dome Trail), are crossable with care. Some bare rock areas with all the warmer temperatures,

Comments
Comments: other than the bare spots I found snowshoes were the best option, the trail was mash potatoes and getting worse. Going up to Wildcat A was steep, coming down was tougher with the mushy snow, take care to be sure footed. Wildcat ridge is a lot of up and down, the views are great, especially from Wildcat D,
