An uncommitted plan is just a plan until it is changed. Original plan was to hike multiple summits from the Camp Bell side of the house, but was quickly allured into red-lining mode. Delighted in beloved red-liner OAB's uphill, downhill, and across, with some "looks like a spur" thrown in. Otherwise, a cold but leisurely day with Knee Deep. Wasn't quite ready to sign off at the end, so threw on a pair of old Speedgoats and red-lined-by-running Manning Hill Road from the parking area to Guinea Ridge enough times to add on 2.3 miles. If you know me, you shouldn't be surprised.
Please walk through the mud instead of walking off trail to avoid it. The ecosystem thanks you. |
