| Comments: |
Wednesday night's snow stuck around on these trails and there's still plenty of legacy ice monorail. Upper half of the mountain still has areas with about half a foot of older snow under the newer powder (other than the typical snow shadow area). Microspikes helpful today (left them in my pack, but almost put them out), but snowshoes will probably be needed tomorrow if the snowfall forecast holds.
Partly sunny afternoon with temperatures in the 30s. |
