Welp that was a good effort I will say. Talk about the slowest going and death feeling in a long time. I figured out osceola was a bust and might try to stay with east. I gave myself a turn around time of 3, but at 2:25 2 others turned, and I couldn’t get over the hip height foot step without falling through. Should have skiied or done moose since saw people got that summit. Darn, oh well glad we got snow finally! Made it to .34 miles from the summit of east osceola. Came back to the car in about an hour with some falling and sliding on snowshoes due to the such powdery consistency. Hope the last 3 got a peak! That open section I was figuring would be sketchy. Another day for me. |
