March Madness at its finest, except my snowshoes were the MVP instead of Caitlin Clark. Big shout out to the pair who broke the first 2 miles. I broke the next 3/4 of a mile to the FPA sign 1/4 mile from the summit before calling it a day. 2 feet of fresh pow down low and deeper drifts in places. Ran into one lone hiker on my way down who said he was unfamiliar with the trail and didn't want to get lost. Taking bets on whether he made it the final 1/4 mile, if he does it's the cinderella story of the day. |
