| Comments: |
This was broken out by a large group on Sunday. Pretty nice snowshoe track going up to Greenleaf Hut, clear path through lesser amount of snow above treeline to Lafayette, the ridge has windblown patches of rock interspersed with deeper snow. Coming down Falling Waters is a whole nother thing. It is a little like skiing & sliding on your snowshoes. Many bum touches were witnessed. It is lots of soft snow, sort of like sand at the beach only there are feet of it. |
