Snowshoes are a must! We broke trail but only made it about 1.5 miles in (a little bit past the junction where you can cross the bridge to get to Blueberry Ledge Cutoff from Dicey's Mill). We found we were trudging through 12"+ of fresh powdery snow, which made our pace less than 1 miles/hr. We decided to turn around before it got steep. Beautiful day to be out exploring and not too cold. |
