Fun afternoon after morning at Cannon Ski Area. Snow was pretty slushy/running water much of the way. My "waterproof" boots still got pretty wet. Snow around 5-6" deep on trail - no real point to using snowshoes unless EVERYONE is going to use them so I didn't - just gotta put feet in the footprints. Awesome views as usual. Route from the Mt Pemi Trail was clearly better - was flat and had seen a lot of traffic... this side... not so much. |
