Comments
Comments: After a quick change of plans I ended up meeting Dave and heading for Carter Dome. NMB was well packed but Carter Dome Tr and Carter-Moriah were unbroken. We broke trail to Zeta Pass then on to Carter Dome, then headed to Mt Hight and down. About 8" down low to over a 18" and drifted up high. A group of 4 that we met on NMB Tr earlier said they were going to climb Carter Dome from Carter Notch but had not yet arrived when we were there. That section was still unbroken. We saw several others heading up to Mt Hight as we descended, the first being just above Zeta Pass. Some hiked with snowshoes and some with microspikes.

C-M Tr north from Zeta Pass had been broken by the afternoon. NMB Tr could become a little bony if we don't get more snow but snowshoes are almost a must at higher elevations.
