Spiked up to Dome and over to Middle Carter on packed trails while it was cold. After Middle the trail had deep post holes and was difficult to walk on. We wore snowshoes on this section. The postholer fortunately headed toward North Carter so our trail down N Carter trail got much easier over somewhat broken trail. Near the bottom the snowshoes came off. Too many rocks |
