| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Very few cars in the lot, well plowed. 11A (the road that passes Gunstock) was closed today but is probably open now. |

Snow - Unpacked Powder, Snow - Drifts, Snow - Wet/Sticky |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |
Snowshoes |
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
All OK in waterproof boots. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Quite a few blowdowns and other debris on the trail following the storm. I tried to spring all the traps but I’m sure I missed some.
Someone installed an 8 foot religious symbol at the summit. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Mine had fun and we got to test out his snowsuit. Lots of balling on his fur otherwise. |

| Comments: |
Snowshoes door to door. It would have been truly miserable otherwise. This was probably the toughest trail breaking I’ve ever had to deal with in the Belknap Range. I was the only one on Brook Tr today and there was only one other person on Boulder Tr, so it’s still very much unconsolidated. The steep part near the top of Boulder was particularly fun. Good luck out there! |
