Comments
Comments: 6" powder snow atop glare ice from 1/2 way ledge on up, and patches of ice from there on down. Too little snow to snowshoe, just enough to hide the ice flows. Slow steady pace helped, Hillsounds trail crampons helped more. Microspike wearer was doubtful they were enough, hillsounds were very grippy. Summit covered by frozen rime ice and rather slippery. Windchill around 10 below, we kept moving.
