The trail was consistent loose packed powder, top to bottom. After noon, the lower sections and areas in the sun became really sticky. Overall, spikes would slip and sink a lot. Snowshoes worked much better, especially on the steeper sections. Snowshoes definitely recommended for the next few days. |
