| Comments: |
Lots of foot traffic on this trail Sunday. The trail is packed down and in good shape. It was sunny out and in the 40s all day with little wind. The weather conditions were solid, but they made the snow a bit soft. I kept my snowshoes on, but I saw a lot of post holes towards the early afternoon when it started to warm up. As the day went on, the snow started turning into that mash potato, spring type snow. Towards the parking lot what was snow in the morning turned into slush. I would recommend wearing snow shoes if you have them to avoid the post holes. |
