| Comments: |
Soneone had skinned into where ravine trail branches off. Helpful. Broke trail from then on with shoes. Steeper sections were tough with loose, granular snow. Had to use tree branches here for support or would slide back down in steeper sections. Combo shoes and light postholing on steeper decent sections back down. Snow consolidated a little bit but still required shoes. Given snow will not be freezing nit sure how much our trail breaking will help. Stopped at castle rock and watched eclipse. Great workout. |
