Comments
Comments: Welp, it was the best of times, it was the worst of times. Thanks to Remington34's excellent report from Monday (you, sir, are the Shakespeare of trail conditions), I decided to give Iso a go before everything falls apart. Bare booted to the ski trail, stickhandling around the snowy patches. Then the shoes stayed on the rest of the way. The whacks wandered in ways I hadn't seen before, but they'll get you there and were surprising stable considering the rain. A couple of places where they took you through a kerfluffle of trees, so watch your face. Snow is rapidly rotting; I punched through a number of times in places I hadn't expected. All things considered, I was thankful to check this one out for April.
