We barebooted at first, then wore spikes for a while and i switched to snowshoes. A woman and a duo went down snowshoeing while we were going up. A group of 6 ( hiking their first 4k)spiked up and postholed but everyone switched to snowshoes going down. More mud and running water as we headed down. Wore snowshoes 3/4 total time approximately.
We saw moose poop x 2 and porcupine poop but no animals were seen, only squirrels ????? |
